Decoration Committee
This committee is responsible for creating, ordering, and purchasing decorations. In addition, they will set up and tear down the night of the party.
Entertainment Committee
This committee is responsible for arranging the entertainment for the evening. This is where the majority of money will be spent. Entertainment can include, but is not limited to inflatables, casino games, psychics, face painting, henna tattoos, photo booth, outdoor games, and hypnotists.
Finance Committee
This person or persons will be responsible for the money that is collected and spent for the event. Accounting will need to follow district guidelines and protocol. The event costs between $20,000 – 25,000.
Food Committee
Food will be available throughout the evening. This committee will arrange for the food, beverages and paper products needed.
Fundraising/Prize Committee
To have funds for the event, this committee will need to get started right away. This team is also responsible for purchasing and getting prize donations.
Publicity Committee
This committee is responsible for setting up a Facebook page and all advertising. The team will be in close contact with event, ticketing and fundraising committees to spread the word. Other responsibilities include creation of the program for the evening showing activities and locations of activities, decorating the showcase in the main hall to advertise the SANP and creation of the t-shirts for the event.
Security/Volunteer Committee
The Security team is responsible for making sure all volunteers have a background check on file with the district. During the event, this committee ensures the safety and well-being of the students attending. Students are locked in and not allowed to leave and the security committee ensures all entrance/exits are secured.
This committee also works with the other teams to ensure that there are the right number of parents available at each event throughout the night. Setting up a sign up genius and working with parents to get slots filled is the primary responsibility for this.
Ticket Committee
This is the committee that designs tickets and runs the sales. Tickets are available throughout the year and is one of the largest portion of funds used to run the event. Other responsibilities include permission slip creation (or revision), parent information letter & parent checklist.
